We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was nice to stay home and not have to travel. We loved having part of my family with us. This house is a great house for entertaining. We definitely need to invite people over more often! We started off with a few appetizers. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were yummy, though I think next time I will turn the broiler on for a few minutes so the bacon gets a little crispy. Oscar made the yummy spinach bacon cheese dip, some tequila lime hot wings and we had our traditional cheese log and a few veggies to make us feel healthy.
For the main course we had Smoked Turkey (from Whole Hog, it was so good!), Smoked Spiral Cut Ham (from Red, Hot & Blue), Cornbread Stuffing, Nutmeg Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Apples & Yams, Strawberry Jello Pretzel salad, Fresh made Cranberry Sauce & Homemade Rolls. For Dessert we had Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Roll, Chocolate Icebox Pie and Baklava.
Here's the table. I got to use my beautiful hand blown crystal stemware that was my mom's grandmothers. We had a variety of sparkling juices to drink. I got the table cloth & center pieces from T.J. Maxx for about $15 for everything!

Such yummy food!! I'm really jealous about the nutmeg potatoes! I guess I will have to wait until Christmas. Glad y'all had fun!
Yummy! It all looks and sounds so good! How wonderful that the kidlets could play outside! I'd love to come to you one year and taste YOUR Thanksgiving!
That all looks so good.
