Garvan Gardens 2012

I know I am so behind on my blogging and I need to catch up, with Christmas and the past few months, but I don’t feel like blogging about that now, so I’m going to share what we have done this week for spring break and maybe I will get back in my blogging groove!

On Tuesday I took my kids and Adabelle and Oscar to Garvan Gardens with Grandma DeVaux. We go to GG every spring break with my mom. The kids always look forward to it. They were all excited to do the scavenger hunt.

We headed to the Koi pond first. They didn’t have any fish food for us so the kids just threw grass at the fish.

The kids all love Grandma! Next we headed to the Kids area.

We had to check out the peacocks. This one was showing off for us.

Everyone was worn out! We went back to Grandma’s for burgers and hot dogs. Then Thomas, Kaylee and Matthew got to spend the night there. Grandpa DeVaux took them to Mid America Museum the next morning. It was a nice break for me and the kids had a blast!

Looks like fun. So sad we missed it this year. It looks warm. It is snowing here today.
