So I am really behind on my blog! This summer has been crazy! We moved at the beginning of August {to a different house, long story I’ll share later} so I have been busy packing and unpacking! We did an easy party for Kaylee and Matthew this year at our {old} neighborhood pool. I took my camera one day when we were swimming and got this great picture for the invitation.
I made the invitations in PSE and emailed them out. Their birthday snuck up on us! We invited family and a few friends.
It was the perfect day for a swim party. The kids had so much fun swimming with cousins, friends and Grandma DeVaux.
We got subs from Wal-Mart. They make amazing sandwiches and they are so good {and cheap}
It was so windy we couldn’t light the candles, so we just pretended to blow them out. The kids thought it was pretty funny!
We got cupcakes from Sam’s club-Kaylee picked out Princess & Matthew picked out Batman.
the kids loved the rings they got on their cupcake.
It was a fun birthday party! one of the easiest I’ve ever thrown.
On the morning of their birthday they opened their presents from us
and had their candles in their donuts.
We went to Chili’s earlier in the week for their birthday dinner. {we were moving into our new house, so their actual birthday was low key}
I can’t believe that they are 5 now! Weren’t they the cutest, little babies! They get to do one more year of preschool. The cutoff for kindergarten here in Arkansas is August 1, their birthday is August 2! Oh well.
We love you Kaylee and Matthew and so glad we have you in our family!!

Happy Birthday, sounds like a fun time. They were so little, it's amazing how fast they grow up.
