Fort Worth Zoo

My mom came to visit last week because her dentist office was closed for spring break. We were so excited to have her come and hang out with us for a few days. It is always nice to have extra hands to help out with the kids and they LOVE Grandma! We went to the Fort Worth Zoo on Wednesday. It was half price day so we got in for really cheap and it wasn't very crowded. One of the best things is we were there with Brandy, Clara & Carter. We had talked about meeting up at the zoo, but never made any definate plans and we both pulled into the parking lot at the same time!  It made the zoo even more fun to have our friends there.

Brandy took this picture of us before we got on the train. (Averi is sleeping in her stroller.)

Our favorite part of the zoo was feeding the birds. You pay $1 for popsicle stick with bird food on it and go into a caged area. The birds come right up to your stick to eat. It is very cool. About halfway through about half of the birds started flying in a big circle around the cage, it was very cool. The kids all screamed and laughed.
The kids also loved the white tiger. He was pacing in front of the window and everytime he walked by them they would all laugh. It was so cute!
What little hams, I love Matthew & Carter in this picture. I think we'll be beating the girls off of these boys in a few years!
Averi was such a trooper. She slept most of the time in her stroller. I fed her when we ate lunch. She was a perfect little angel for us!
On the zoo train. We were at the zoo for about 3 1/2 hours, I didn't think we'd last that long. They all slept on the way home. It was a fun day. Thanks for taking us Grandma DeVaux!
