Boise...the last day!

(This is my 301st post! Wow!!)
This is from our final day in Boise. Some friends in the ward had this cool barrel train that they lent to the Anderson's for the reunion. The kids all loved it and rode it multiple times. I took lots of pictures.

Matthew had a lot of fun with Kyle.
Maddy held Kaylee's hand when she got a little scared.
Matthew had fun doing the tug-of-war with the big kids

Here's all the people that were at the reunion. I think there were over 90 people there!

The boys had to do the hot tub one last time with Seth on Saturday.

We had a wonderful time in Boise. The kids loved all of their cousins and had the best time and were sad to leave them behind. Thomas understands that we won't be going back for a while and really didn't want to leave. Thanks for the fun trip to all of our Boise family. We miss you!!!

Boise part 4

Friday morning we had breakfast and then played Minute to Win It. Cathy and Melanie had planned it and Thomas was SOOOO EXCITED!!! He loves to watch it and he would plan little minute to win it games for Kaylee & Matthew this summer.  As you can see from the pictures he was excited to be able to stack the apples.
Averi enjoyed the bounce house with Mallory while everyone was playing the game.
Friday night we all headed out to the Burch's for dinner and the family auction. Jake brought his cotton candy machine and we were all in heaven! The kids LOVED that they could just go and get a huge cotton candy when they felt like it and Jake made them BIG! I had forgotten how good FRESH cotton candy is...so yummy!
Aaron, trying to tackle his super big cotton candy.
Kaylee loved the pink!
Matthew preferred the blue

and Averi was just happy to have some too!

Jason was the auctioneer, he did a great job and it was fun to bid on things to raise money for the next reunion.

Boise part 3

On Tuesday a big group went to float the Payette River. Jim went and was so excited to go. It had probably been 13 years since he had done it.  It will probably be another 13 until he floats it again!  They had to 2 rafts and the one Jim was on lost everyone but Emilee & Maddy (the 2 youngest girls!) Jim and Mike both thought they were going to die! Needless they survived and were just a little banged up! I'm so glad he made it home safely to us! Here is a shot of everyone that went.
While Jim was almost dying on the river, I hung out with Jen. We took a bunch of the kids to a bounce house place.  They had a lot of fun, so much I couldn't really get a good shot of them because they were doing so much running!
Megan loved keeping Averi company
Cute Seth
Thomas had so much fun with his cousins. He still misses all the boys and the fun they had!

Cathy took some family pictures for us at the train depot one morning. This is one of the best, I have lots to go through and do some editing on so look for those later! She did a really nice job, especially considering how hard it is to get a good picture of us with our 4 monkeys!
Thursday started the festivities of the Anderson Family Reunion. We started at a fun pool that my kids had so much fun at. The water was a little cold to me (I'm used to the 100 degree weather) but we had a lot of fun!
My kids with Aaron, Jordan and Kyle. It was so nice having so many helping hands to keep the kids happy!

Kaylee loved going on the slide with Uncle Mike. I thought this was a great picture of the 2 of them.

Kaylee was sharing her Popsicle with Averi, she is such a nice sister!
We ended the evening at a park with a yummy fried chicken dinner and a little talent show.
Aunt Kay singing with all the younger grand kids.
Jen, Cathy, Melanie & Carolee sang "Eat It" and did a great job!

Boise part 2

Grandma & Grandpa Anderson gave Matthew & Kaylee their birthday presents Monday morning. They were excited for their baseball bat and puzzles.

While we were in Boise we borrowed this van from Dorthy (one of Karen's friends). We called it the "real swaggerwagon." The kids LOVED it!
It was fun to drive around, we felt very safe being in such a big car! It even had a CB radio!
The kids loved all the space they had!
Matthew and Thomas enjoyed the back a lot! There was so much room they could both lay down and take a nap.
The kids had so much fun hot tubbing with Jim.

Boise part 1

We flew to Boise a couple of weeks ago and spent a week there. It had been almost 2 years since we had been to Boise so the kids were very excited. They did really good on the flights. We had a delay in the Vegas airport that wasn't very much fun, but we made it to Boise late Saturday night!
Averi enjoyed crawling around on the layover.
Thank Heavens for DVD Players!
Sunday night we had a big family dinner with all the Anderson's. I think there were over 40 people there, the majority being the grand kids!
Thomas was so excited to see all his boy cousins and just had the best time playing with them!
Kaylee loved the sandbox and had fun with Becca and Logan
Averi & Mallory had fun playing together they are about a month and a half apart and are cute as can be!
It was fun to visit with everyone
We celebrated the August birthdays, Kaylee and Matthew loved helping all the cousins blow out the candles.

Gabe is living in Boise working so he got to come and take part in the festivities. We had so much fun seeing him too!
Thomas was very excited to see Gabe as well!
